The Umbria Jazz international network is one of the most important jazz music festivals in Italy. Beside the Orvieto festival, in summer there is the Umbria Jazz festival in Perugia. This festival includes a series of concerts held in historic buildings throughout Orvieto. The Umbria Jazz Winter edition has been taking place in Orvieto for many years. This music festival is a great opportunity to enjoy good jazz music and enjoy the magic atmosphere of the New year’s day in the squares and streets of Orvieto.
Several concerts with the participation of famous international musicians take place in beautiful historic buildings in the city center such as Palazzo del Popolo (Sala dei 400, Sala Expo), Palazzo dei Sette, Palazzo Soliano, Sala dei Carmine, Duomo (Gospel) as well as in the elegant setting of the Teatro Mancinelli.
