In this large excavation area that is divided in several places, already have been brought to light the remains of Roman road construction Etruscan and the plan of a medieval church (St. Pietro in Vetere).
Leaving this important site, continue uphill to the paved road.
We are in San Valentino local area and after a few minutes of ascent, turning already enjoying a beautiful view of the cliff. It climbs through beautiful green and quiet with a few scattered houses. In this process always takes right crossing a small bridge above the river below.
Follow the road until the road suddenly becomes white until reunification with the asphalt road in the local area called Tamburino.
From here begins the descent that follows the stretch of paved Etruscan; down on the left you can appreciate the cemetery church of Orvieto (San Lorenzo in Vineis church). The descent ends with the reunion with the main road to the “Ponte del Sole”, from here immediately turn right, passing over a bridge and going to the modern church of the place. It goes beyond the church to take a paved road inside and back to the starting point.
